I'm often asked why not just " Open your own brokerage", or "What's the value Compass brings?". This image says it all. While many sales agents and associate brokers are hard working, multi-faceted professionals in their market, the Brand behind them makes a huge difference.
Since joining as a Partner on the Catalyst Team at Compass. Branding has helped my business as such:

In fact, in our recent case study, we took 3 months to help a client strategically sell estate furniture, guided her on necessary cleaning, wire molding removal, painting to reflect natural light, and even virtually staged her home. The selection of virtually staged photos was done so with attention to the apartment’s floor plan and coinciding with the year the building was constructed so the space had a logical design theme.
As of February 2023, COMPASS continues to be #1 in web traffic with over 22 million website visitors in 3 months (Nov 2022 to Feb 2023), significantly more than any other firm.
This showcases that Compass.com is able to centralize data among all NYC Compass agents using the website. Data such as the number of views on one listing as compared to another, and seasonal trends that lead to an uptick in demand are all talking points the brand (and we as advisors) can use to help guide our clients.
