2021 Tax Filing Deadlines

April 15 - 2020 IndividualIncome Tax Returns Due

April 15 - 2020 Annual Gift Tax Returns Due ( If you’re strategizing a parental gift in order to pay for out of pocket closing expenses, you’ll want to speak to your accountant)

April 15 - 2020 calendar year - C corporation income tax returns are due

April 15 - Deadline for making 2020 IRA contributions

April 15 - First installment of 2021individual estimated tax is due

June 15 - Second installment of 2021 individual estimated tax is due

September 15 - Third installment of 2021 individual estimated tax returns

September 15 - Due date for extended S corporation and partnership tax returns

October 15 - Due date for extended individual and C corporation tax returns.

January 17, 2022 - Fourth installment of 2021 individual estimated tax is due

Speak to your accountant for assistance with any tax filing. If you don’t have a personal accountant, you can ask me for a recommendation for one in NY. Also be aware that tax changes can occur at any time. As needed, contact your CPA for current rates and rules.
